Great people don’t cave in and give up that easy. They’re not people that have everything that goes right. They’re people that simply refuse to quit. They’re Relentless. I was 20 years old when God called me into this Ministry. It began with little skits and dramas and all I had were a handful of kids. My fist year was tough and all I can say is that I had learned a lot. I was going through a training stage in which God was taking me out of my comfort zone. One day I saw a group of kids on television performing to the Song "Now Behold the Lamb of God" by Kirk Franklin. I must say I was blown away and could not wait to share it with the group. I taught it to the group and performed it in front the Church congregation. God moved in such a holy way that I couldn’t even express in words what had happened. I knew at that moment that it was God, and the only reason we were created was to worship him. It started out with twelve young adults and was narrowed down to seven. Christian songs filled up my spirit as we started to interpret the meaning to other songs. God opened up doors and closed doors. For two years we traveled outside our church and we promoted the Gospel through our dance and drama. I had led this group not knowing where God was going to take us. God is good and he knew the plans for this group before it even started. After two years the group split up. Andrew, whom was a member at that time, was taken out of the group. A month later I was forced to leave the group, and after while Michaela had left the group as well. The next four Months Michaela and I continued to practice. We were determined to take back what the enemy had stolen from us. They’re were so many times that we wanted to throw in the towel and quit. It was Michaela that said not to quit and keep going and that summer of August of 2003, we went searching for new members. God had layed in our hearts three girls that joined our group, which were Jessica, Jodi, and Kristin. Shortly, Andrew had rejoined and we soon obtained a new name "Relentless" meaning never giving up. People always find the easy way out and the truth is the easy way out will lead you no where. I wonder where I would be if I had chosen to give up? Would there even be a Relentless team? I believe that there would be, but God would have just skipped me and used someone else to finish the job. Today, Relentless consists of ten young adults all from different churches. We have been invited to lead worship in different churches, campgrounds, conferences and schools. One of our goals is to break down the barriers that separate churches today. The true vision of this team is to bring the simple message of the cross that can set people free. I thank God for using me, for giving me another chance. When everyone else gave up on me, he looked down at me and said, get up! I'm not through with you yet. I give him thanks and give him all the glory. Relentless- A group that simply refuse to quit no matter the trials that is thrown in its way.
